Tow & Fert Products
Tow and Fert was born out of a simple observation. Aerial operators applying foliar fertiliser from helicopters were getting remarkable efficiency from very small amounts of nutrient. Every litre of fuel had to count, so every litre of product had to work. The question was obvious: why can't ground-based farmers access that same efficiency? Answering it took around fifteen years of research, development, and honest farmer feedback. The result is a range of machines that brings precision foliar and fine-particle application to paddock scale, without the cost, logistics, and equipment burden that has historically made liquid systems impractical on farm.
Tow and Fert is designed and manufactured by Metalform (Dannevirke) Ltd, a New Zealand engineering company with more than sixty-five years of manufacturing heritage. From our Dannevirke facility we've built a reputation for practical, robust gear that holds up in the conditions farmers actually work in. That reputation didn't come from chasing trends. It came from designing kit that lasts, supporting it properly, and listening to the people using it. The same approach runs through every Tow and Fert machine we build today.
